Common Microwave Problems

We can repair, service, and replace parts in all types of microwaves, including countertop, drawer fitted, built-in, or over-the-range models. Some of the most common problems encountered include:

Microwave Isn’t Heating

This issue is usually caused by a broken door switch, the high voltage diode, or the magnetron. While these problems are generally fixable, a qualified technician is required.

Turntable Won’t Rotate

Sometimes, this is simply down to the turntable being out of position or incorrectly aligned with the rotation mechanism. If this is not the case, it is likely due to a fault with the motor-driven coupler. This requires a live voltage test to be carried out by a licensed technician.

Touchpad Isn’t Responding

A non-responsive touchpad can be caused by a fault in the membrane switch, control panel, or water damage.

Damaged or Faulty Parts

With most of our repairs, damaged or faulty parts are the primary culprits. Our repair vans are fully stocked with quality replacement parts to get your appliances back up and running as quickly as possible.

Whether you need lights, fuses, switches, capacitors, motors, diodes, or magnetrons, our technicians will source and fit each part correctly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Called Better Living when my washer dryer stopped working and the whole experience was better than I expected. Zack and Dmitri handled the job, showed up on time, and had it diagnosed within minutes. They explained what went wrong in plain terms and didn’t try to push me toward anything I didn’t need.
And now it's good as new
The repair itself was quick and clean, and the price came in right where they quoted. What stood out was how straight they were with me the entire time. No runaround, no surprise charges. Zack and Dmitri clearly know what they’re doing and did an excellent job. If anything else breaks, Better Living is my first call.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When my LG washer one day suddenly started to have some issues, that I wanted a service technician to have a look.

When searching online for a service provider, I chose Better Care Appliance Repair for the following reasons: Their commitment to quality workmanship, customer satisfaction and mostly for past customers positive feedback.

Service technician Zach was prompt, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable in helping to diagnose the problem in a short period of time. Zach also provided multiple options and information to fix the issue.

I was very impressed and would highly recommend Better Care Appliance Repair. I would definitely use their services again in the future.
